Ball chain in size 4.5 x 6.0 mm is a common chain for use with blinds and other sun protection.

All our 4.5 mm ball chains have the right size for this.

Choose a chain with a steel base, these are available in nickel-plated steel (silver/chrome colored), brass-plated steel (yellow copper or gold colored) or stainless steel (slightly grayer in color than nickel plated).

Other types of materials are less strong and can stretch or even break with frequent use.

For roller blinds and slats, a plastic chain is often used with a large distance (12 mm) between the balls and a ball diameter of 3.6 mm, we do not have a replacement item for this in our range.
